A tad upset

Me and hubby went out Saturday night and when I left my fuschia was looking fab.

On Sunday morning it looks as tho someone had kicked a ball into the plant pot and snapped a big chunk of my fuschia off I now have a big gap where we had to take the snapped bits off

What a shame. I hate kids playing in the street with balls not cause I'm a killjoy but they always do damage either to gardens or cars, and its never property that they live in.

Will the snapped bits be any use as cuttings? Can't remember if they propagate easily that way... Just to get some good from the bad, I mean.

Yes I think they do propagate very easily from cuttings

I think they do too.

Naomi, that's such a thoughtless thing for someone to do. Hopefully the fuchia will recover and push out a new shoot.

Re: A tad upset

I'm gonna give the snapped bit to my dad as he's a dab hand at growing plants.

Fortunatly the rest of my plants are growing extremely well, especially my Peruvian Lily
