Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

Morning all. Lovely sunny day here again! Few bits of things to do this morning. Nothing very exciting
This afternoon , there is a Siamese cat show close to where I live and the breeder I am buying from has asked me to go along. So will probably pop in there for a little while later

Hope you all have a lovely weekend

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

morning.
Started off chilly, but the sun is out. Rang sky, and FINALLY theyve fixed thier computers ( for the past two weeks have been "upgrading" and were unable to re-connect me).
Anyway, got all the channels we waned, kids mix, variety mix ( sky one, two, etc movies mix and sports mix for £21.50 a month for 6 months. After then I can cancel any channles we don't want.

Just waiting for new viewing card toa rrive. so thats the phone and tv swapped over from nTl.
just deciding if i still even want the internet, and if so do we REALLY need broadband when all it gets used for is here, emails, ebay and the bank. Might go to dial up. Or might not bother at all.

No plans for today, ryan stayed at my brothers house last night, so he prob be back late pm, then hubby is here about 8.20pm and mum and step dad arrive from up north about 9.30, popping in before they check into hotel, then theyre taking the kdis back up north tomorrow.

I'll be resting my back again, still stiff and achey, with the odd "twinge2 so hoping it not another attack of sciatica. i usually get 1 or 2 attacks a year.

So, plenty of cross stitch, and some light housework.

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

Afternoon all.

I'm spending today making a top I started making for myself yesterday and that's looking very promising so far I don't usually make clothes, so when I pinned it all together (the body, not doing the sleeves yet) and tried it on and it fit I was quite surprised!

This evening I'm going to an acquaintance's birthday party with some friends, and I'm hoping to finish my top by tomorrow night, when we have a company do

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

Nails this morning + looking for some maternity combats . . . can I find any? Can I heck!!! Then back home to a row with hubby and then to mow the lawn and plant a couple of hebes. Why does he feel the need to WAX both cars when there are a million and one real things that need doing round the house????????

Off now to water in my hebes (slow process as I need to carry a heavy can up the stairs from back to front garden), and then to wash out the recycle bin . . . yuk!!!!

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

It's quite a nice day here. Town this morning, for nothing very much, then an hour on the allotment, now home to chill for the rest of the day I think. As ever I have done a little too much heavy work, so have a stiff shoulder!
Oh, and I washed the landing carpet where Tizzie had peed - that was after I washed the kitchen floor, because she peed one foot from her litter tray rather than in it. I am feeling pessimistic, but we'll see what the vet says on Monday.

Yola - have you tried the mail order maternity suppliers? Blooming Marvellous etc. Or even Next - they have quite a large (heh heh) range.

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Saturday..

afternoon all.
Been out this morning got caught in snow, hail and sleet. Oh lovely! OH tryed to fir the bedroom carpet but it had been rolled the wrong way, just my luck! Another night on the floor!!!!!!!
boys are all out (exept one) who I think is a pain in the you know what. Why is it when a male gets the "cold" he's dieing?? Its the flu. Then if they have the flu it's phewmonia?? Pathetic. Rage over now
Not doing much today and finally got the chance to get the PC. Should have my lap top back next week. Then the quiet at nights will be shattered on CP
Hope everyone is well. Looking forward to catching up with you all
Jac
