Daily Shred Thread / Tuesday

Morning all. Woke up a while ago with a sore throat How I hate this time of year for bugs and things

Anyhow, taking my friend to get some new glasses today. Might get chance to do some Christmas shopping too. Then it is Em's parents evening tonight, so that should be interesting

Hope you all have a lovely day

Good morning. Similar day to yesterday I think. It is starting to look like autumn at last - there are still a lot of leaves on the trees but at least there is some colour in them.
Busy day planned, so I'll speak later. have fun, everyone.

Morning!!

It's a bit of a drizzley day here but not really cold. Kids have half day as it's the funeral of 4 local girls who got killed in a car crash nearly 2 weeks ago They were only 15

Other than that not a lot really just making space for our new addition

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Tuesday

I did the school drop-off this morning as hubby had to take his car for a service. As it's quite specialist he had to travel into deepest Surrey and set off early.

I then did the Waitrose food shopping, went to toys r us (yuk - HATE that shop) to get a present for little Jake (step-grandson) whose first birthday party we're going to on Saturday and then popped into Hobbycraft for card, ribbon and glitter paint as Dominik and I are going to make the labels for all our Christmas presents this year (he doesn't know this yet)!!

Oh, and yesterday I was told by my little 3 year old 'angel' get out of my face and you silly old cow. Needless to say words were had at nursery with his teacher this morning

It's been a drizzly day here and everything is starting to look messy with the fallen leaves....

Fran ~ hope your sore throat bug clears soon, I still have mine after two weeks

Yola ~ Snap!! I hate Toys R Us too!

Fran/Mags - Interesting article in the paper today about coughshttp://news.independent.co.uk/uk/hea...cle1982138.ece

Yola Bad boy - or nice boy picking up phrases to throw in like grenades! He has to learn these things - growing up is realising when it may be appropriate to use them and when it is a real no-no. I have the feeling his mum will teach him that.

Murky drizzly day here. The cats are not impressed. They've helped me do a big tidy in my work room but are now bored and think they ought to have their tea early ..... no chance

Its been raining here all day.

I am still trying to make the right choice for all of us including my cats/kittens to whether or not to take on two more.

Enjoy the rest of today x

Thanks for that DM, it's a very interesting article. I have heard that cough medicines are a complete waste of money......but I still tend to buy them when I have the dreaded cough! I quite fancy trying the chocolate remedy!!

Go for it Mags!
Lots of choice ... but I think they say the darker the better, so go for the Green & Blacks rather than the Galaxy!
