Por Reggie - that's a classic place for an abscess. Will he let you bathe it with warm salty water? Might help ease it for him until you can get some magic antibiotics. Bet he will be his normal rogueish self within half a day of his vet visit! |

Definately sounds like an abcess to me judging by his behaviour and how quick the lump has appeared. Amber had an abcess in exactly the same place a few months back. The vets should give him a clip and clean up tomorrow. A good clean and some antibiotics with daily bathing he'll be as right as rain and running rings around you again before you know it Get well soon Reggie! xxxxx |

hes letting me touch it now. hes quite happy snoozing on my lining of my bike leather, which is on the bed. hes eating ok which is another good sign, drinking well (steals the dogs water LOL) |
