non reactivei know its only been over a wk,but neither jack(dog) or cass(cat) have noticd that my othr cat Toby is no longer around,i know in the last couple of wks he slept alot,and until 2 wks ago he became immobile is it because they have each other as a distraction? i had jack for nearly 7 an a half yrs with toby,and cass for nearly 4 n a half yrs with him

Could be....... Animals generally tend to move on quicker than us humans, to them its just that the dynamics have changed. Some appear to grieve while others just move on. |

When we lost Rosie in 2010, Harvey was very upset. Didnt appear to worry Katie for about 3 weeks when it seemed to ovcur to her that Rosie wasnt coming back & then she too went into grieving. Perhaps yours doesnt realise yet their wee friend has gone for good  |
