Re: New grandchild for the Queen

Please can I ask if you can say nothing nice please say nothing at all, no Royal jibes.
I posted this as Good news and surely a baby is good news. So would rather have no replies than nastiness.
Thank you
Karen

Re: New grandchild for the Queen

That's good news. Is it their first? I'm not very aware of the Royals to be honest but i think it's nice that we have them.

I did hear a question on a quiz the other day, which was: Who is third in line to the throne? and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't know the answer

Re: New grandchild for the Queen

I am very pleased for them! They already have a daughter (Louise I think she's called), so a sibling for her would be nice.

I know Sophie had a very difficult pregnancy and birth and was advised (if my memory serves me well) to take care if having another child.

I also know she had an ectopic pregnancy not long after I did, so I wish them both well with this.

Re: New grandchild for the Queen

I hope all goes well for them. When she was carrying their daughter the Countess was visiting our area and had to be rushed to our local hospital as an emergency and her baby was born there quite a bit premature. She wasn't at all well poor little mite and was transferred to one of the London hospitals shortly after birth. Let's hope they have a uncomplicated pregnancy this time.

Re: New grandchild for the Queen

I heard the news lunchtime and am delighted for them both.

Sophie has had difficulties with two pregnancies already and I hope and pray that at the age of 42, her pregnancy will go smoothly without any complications.

I hate to tell you, Fran, but I don't think that was the right answer (I think I could have guessed that!!) I think the right answer was either Andrew or Edward - one of Charles' brothers????!?!!?!???

I'm happy to stand corrected though
