Everything's coming on well Eileen. Do you have problems in U.S. with the dreaded lily beetle? It is a horrible pest here and puts me off growing lilies, although I love them. |

I'm happy to say I've never heard of the dreaded lily beetle! What a shame, lilies are a mainstay in the garden. Slugs aren't a problem much here also; I understand they're bad on hostas in the UK. Squirrels are bad for lilies...apparently the bulbs are as tasty as tulips.... |

Lovely pics Eileen, the yellow lily is beautiful! The red lily beetle that Angie mentioned has ruined my lilies this year Everything looks so healthy there, your tommies are really shooting up in the sunshine aren't they...as are the beans I can just picture you sat in that chair with a glass.....oops, bottle of wine on the table! |

That looks such a lovely spot to sit Eileen. I must say I have never heard of the Lily Beetle either. Mine always come up beautifully, except for this year as I was digging them up to replant them elsewhere and managed to break off the new shoots (duh!!) |
