Hello everyone - it's been a while!

Most of you will not recognise me, considering I haven't posted for over two years, but I'm hoping there may be one or two faces who remember me!

A massive update, or more, an introduction.

I'm Jane, I'm 16 and from South Yorkshire. I love animals, I have 11 hamsters and two guinea pigs, plus the family pets. I've just started at college doing A Levels in biology, chemistry, maths and psychology.

I was originally here because we had a beautiful cat called Patch who was my world, and although I'd rather not retell his story (which still really hurts me), if you read through my older posts you will find out about him. We still miss him dearly of course, especially around the anniversary of him leaving us

Well, you may also remember Meow, and she's the reason I'm back. When we first got our allotment about five years ago now, after a few weeks, a very skinny, sad looking kitty arrived on our plot.. very scared and very unsociable. Within time, she grew to trust us.. for the last three years or so, she's had a cat flap in the greenhouse (it's a big wooden self made one), a comfy bed with lots of insulation around it, regular meals and lots of love. I have to say, through all of this, she has been VERY loved still.

We've been thinking about it for months, and this week we've decided seriously - we're going to bring her home! Which is what leads me back here She can have her own thread soon though.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone - and hopefully everything will go well and you'll be seeing more of me around!

Jane
