Hi everyone I am new here


My kitten has a sticky eye I only got him yesterday hus name is Salem I have bathed it gently any advice? Thanks

I would get him to a vet asap for a full health check. You don't say where you got him from ........ ?

Yes definitely take to the vets ASAP, you dont want it spreading to the other eye. Some little kittens can be susceptible to eye infections which will require antibiotics to clear it up. Wee pet must be uncomfortable x

hi , welcome to catsey. I would carry on bathing until you can get to the vets. Just be sure to bath from the tear duct outwards and use the cotton wool just once. Hope things are improving for Salem.
Would be lovely to hear more about him and see a pic

Thanks everyone,Salems eye is better i kept bathing it,I got him from an equestrian centre where I saw his mother etc.Salem is lovely he is so chilled and loves cuddles,Hes do loved by the children.I have a full vet check booked for him and I will put some pics on of him.
