English Villages....

Anyone give me the names of small rural villages anywhere in England, We have decided to cut all Hubbys travelling, we should move down to England, then it would only take him an hour to get home every week, instead of all day, but I really do not know where to start looking.. I would like to live on the outskirts of a village, or a few miles out...

Sorry, can't help you there Moli, I've no experience of anywhere that close to London (what do you want to go and leave 'Gods own country' for anyway, lol).

Re: English Villages....

Berkshire Downs. Drivable or trainable. Upper Basildon, Hermitage, Bradfield, Yattendon, Frilsham, Stanford Dingley (all small to tiny), Pangbourne, Goring, Streatley (larger villages), Wallingford (small market town).

Happy hunting and I trust all the pets will be coming too????

Re: English Villages....

Kent is only around an hour south of London. There are lots of villages around all the way down to the coast. If this is an area of interest then I could investigate further for you?
