Carli to the vets on Thursday

It never rains but it pours.

Fistly the cats get an overdose of C/M. Then Bluebell gets an abcess, then today we find a lump on the dog. The vet wasn't too worried & thinks it's probably a fatty lump. He couldn't do a FNA as it would hurt. So he said we could just leave it & see what happens or we could remove it. FCR's are very, very prone to cancer so I have said I want it removed & she is booked in for this Thursday. They will send away some of it to test for cancer. Hopefully it will be ok.

Are you paying for your Vets chrissy presents this year? Seriously I hope it's nothing more than a fatty lump.

Re: Carli to the vets on Thursday

She's been to the vets & had her lump removed. She is ok, but seems a bit unsettled. I'm off to take her temperature now. We should get the results next week some time. Her stitches are due out on Christmas day

Just re-read this & it reads like, we will get the results of her temperature next week! silly me

Re: Carli to the vets on Thursday

I'm glad the op is over for Carli, I suppose it's understandable that she's not feeling quite herself after. I hope she'll be feeling her old self again in a couple of days.

Fingers crossed that the results of the lump will be nothing to worry about...
