1 of the main reasons we got Harris neutered was to stop him spraying in the house as he is an indoor cat as well. He should have been neutered before we got him but cats protection didnt get him done as he was too poorly before we got him |

I would suggest yes, neuter for reasons as Pamela has said but also even with the best will in the world there is always a possibility of Nova "escaping" and finding females. The drive to procreate is unstoppable unless you have him done. He will be a happier boy and the weight issue can be addressed with feeding and indoor exercise. |

Definitely neuter this cat. Entire males have been known to break into and out of houses in order to mate. Even if he cannt get out, I'd imagine that unless you like to live in an environment that absolutely stinks of ammonia, he will be neutered soon enough , unless you are thinking about breeding . |

So what's got your knickers in a twist? You asked the question, I gave you my take on it, you know I don't mince my words, so why are you making a personal attack out of it? And a happy new year to you relax..... |

I definitely think best to get him neutered for the reasons mentioned, and in case he ever did escape. I personally don't agree with allowing cats to breed, so would always neuter |
