How strong were the contractions? How many contractions? Was there a kitten to be seen / felt at the vulva? Has she had a litter before? Is she panting? Does she have any vaginal discharge? How much fluid has she lost? |

I'm not really sure - I haven't had a pregnant cat before! The contractions seemed quite strong and she was panting for a bit. There was a lot of fluid when her waters broke and some brown-ish/pink discharge. I couldn't see a kitten and haven't felt her, as I didn't want to interrupt. She seems okay in herself, there is no straining now and she doesn't appear to be in any pain - it's like she's just taking a break - but it's been for over an hour now. |

Ohhh - forgot to say that I think this is her first litter (she is a rescue cat) but she does have small nipples that don't look like she's nursed before. Please help!! |
