Royal Ascot.


Starts tomorrow, some of the best bloodstock in the world!!! Looking forward to it, could of got 2 free tickets for ladies day aswell today, but when my sister telephoned "Mike" back, he didnt know who she was and had texted the wrong number!!!

I'm not big on horse racing ( the whole betting this is WELL beyond my tiny brain's capability), but Ascot, being local is an event I find fascinating . . . but as much for the pomp and parading as for the horse-racing.

I did work there one one year - in the town not the race course, and the place was completely chaotic during the few days of the race. But fun!!!

Shame about the lady's day tickets Dawn. Still - can't blame your sister for trying

I dont do betting either Yola, havent got a clue! nor the cash!! Looking forward tro watching it though, I enjoy it, and I have friends who are head girls at leading stables, so will keep an eye open for those too.
