Milk drinking - Close up


Close up on how cats drink

I find it amazing how they use their tongue to drink.



As you can see the cat uses it backside of its tongue to cup / flick the liquid into its mouth. That's talented



Myrtle just like to pull tongues

Thank you Lessey, shot took 5mins to setup camera on tripod, got the milk out and within another 5mins I had the shot, its not perfect because its hard to get the cat to drink the milk side on. Going to try again sometime.

Thanks for posting that link Matt. It was very cool to learn how dogs drink, just the opposite of how we probably thought.
