Friday. Daily

Good morning Pamela, Shelley and Yola.
It's Friday early evening here after a reasonably warm day. It's going to rain tomorrow with thunderstorms but it's still meant to be around 23 degrees ,so humid.I've been lurking over the last few days but just haven't had the energy to do much at all. This flu has really knocked me. I tried going out for a walk today and when i got back, I was just exhausted and had to lie down.I'm still coughing a lot but I think it is easing - at least Snoddy is able to get a bit of sleep now ! I now wish I had insisted on having a Covid test, but the person I spoke to said it would be just the flu and not to worry about being tested.I'll just hang in there anyway, as I am definitely better than I was. My cousin is coming round for lunch tomorrow - i haven't seen her for a couple of weeks as I was too ill and didn't want her to catch anything.

PAMELA, I'm glad that you are still going to see your dad. You both need each other. Good on you for making all those snuffle mats in time and how wonderful that you have got your mum's baking book. I know you will treasure it.That goodness you weren't injured in that explosion last week and it didn't cause any fires. Gosh, that was a bit of excitement. Is it still snowing ? Be careful if you go out running as it will probably be slippery.I can imagine Mia playing in the snow. Poor Barney- I know it is a worry when your dog reacts with other dogs and it must be extra hard to hold him in the snowy conditions.Hopefully he'll settle down a bit again.Lots of luck with getting your perfect tree and making it beautiful.Janna and I haven't put our tree up yet but may do it this weekend.

SHELLEY,fancy seeing a little weasel in your garden. Are they protected species in the UK ? I assume they are similar to our ferret which is classed as a pest and it is now illegal to keep one as a pet. That boy doll you purchased sounds super. You don't get many boy dolls. Are you going to keep him in your collection? I know I would .A neighbour of mine over the back fence was telling me she collects Gonks (not sure of the spelling). I've never heard of them, but she says they were really popular years ago. I know she buys a lot of them overseas.Sounds like fun.Strange that Eric finally got in touch again, but at least you know that he is OK. Take care, Shelley, if you are no longer working from home. I'm glad that the Covid vaccine is finally in sight and is offering some hope for normality next year for us all.

YOLA, you've been having an exciting time as well with that accident outside your home. Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt and your property wasn't damaged at all.Gosh, there's not much excitement in my life at all compared to you guys.I do hope your knees and arms are continuing to improve and you and your family are looking forward to Christmas.

Well everyone, I'm going to take the cats out on the back lawn now. It's only 8.15pm and still warm and they'e all lining up ready to go.At least they don't fight when they're outside ,but gosh they're always fighting inside lately and Freddie is still jumping on Betsey every time she comes into the lounge and biting her neck.

Enough of my problems. Have a great Friday everyone and stay safe.
