Re: Hedgehog house :)

I was looking at a site with these on recently too. I've had a little hedgehog appearing in my garden of late, and I would love to have a place for him to go next year!

Re: Hedgehog house :)

hmmm, it's not too bad, although my grass seemed to take a massive growth spurt after we last cut it and now is far too wet to cut, so it'll drive me mad until spring lol. I also need to get a fair few more perennials and evergreens etc, but on the whole it is coming together nicely thank you.

Unusual isn't it Moli ??

Well Alex hopefully your grass won't grow anymore until the spring You should take some more photos, especially in the spring time.

Re: Hedgehog house :)

I will, when I fill in the empty bits lol. Must admit though, the plants that Kazz brought to me earlier in the year have been an absolute delight. Still lots of colour from some of them even now. And I'm in love with my lavender, it has jut bushed out now and taken over the corner of the bed it is in. Lovely!

I do have a little bug box in my hedge that the girls made at a craft club. Filled with leaves etc so that all the little insects have somewhere to go lol!

Re: Hedgehog house :)

Lucky you being able to grow lavender!!! I have managed to kill off about three, although I think one which is growing in a pot has survived, I don't think they like our clay soil.

Bug boxes are a great idea, you can make ladybird boxes using old garden canes.
