Should I, shouldn't I?

Well just got the local paper (info sheet sort of thing) for our estate and in it is a big ad saying "Garden Competition 2006" there are 5 sections
1. One for gardens belonging to house/bungalows.
2. One for flats with balconies.
3. One for flats without balconies ie pots, tubs, hanging baskets.
4. One for under 16's.
5. One for new starters with gardens.
There has been a best garden comp for the last 20/30 odd years.

The judging is based on use of colour/space etc. The judging will be done by three people and will be the 2nd week in August.........now the question is do I enter?????????????? what do you think?I would enter if I did No 1. I have 3 months to make my garden look respectable enough - so should or shouldn't I?

Karen

Should. Much better than a case of the what-if:s in August when it looks stunning.

You GO, girl!!! Will be great fun, even if you don't win! There are lots of attractive things that bloom in August: glads & crocosmias come immediately to mind...all sorts of things, bet everyone can come up with suggestions. Do try!!

Re: Should I, shouldn't I?

I'd say yes - on the understanding there will be lots of competition and you mustn't be disappointed if you don't win.
Good luck though!
