I have grown strawberries in the strawberry pots before they are very good, don't forget that they like a lot of water though. When you transplant your strawberries to the pots it might take them a while to recover, but they will. Good luck!! |

If you live anywhere near a farm supplier you could get a pig trough! They are just great for strawberries - drill a few drainage holes, fill with compost and bung 'em in. That nice silver looks good and the berries just dangle down over the sides, away from harm. The pots are fine but very water sensitive - there's little soil/compost for the volume of vegetation. |
