I think mine would be Sung by Louis Armstrong and the song What A Wonderful World I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I think to myself, what a wonderful world I see skies of blue and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night And I think to myself, what a wonderful world The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky Are also on the faces of people going by I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?" They're really saying "I love you" I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow They'll learn much more than I'll ever know And I think to myself, what a wonderful world Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world Oh yeah |

I think mine would be "Always look on the bright side of life" Some things in life are bad They can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle Don't grumble, give a whistle And this'll help things turn out for the best... And...always look on the bright side of life...If life seems jolly rotten There's something you've forgotten And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you're feeling in the dumps Don't be silly chumps Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing. And...always look on the bright side of life...For life is quite absurd And death's the final word You must always face the curtain with a bow. Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow. So always look on the bright side of death |

Mine would be the song 'You light up my life' as it has meaning for so many things, my husband, my children, my God! It was also the song for our first dance at our wedding. To sing it I think I would have someone like Hayley Westenra, a beautiful clear voice to sing it without theatrics. So many nights I'd sit by my window Waiting for someone to sing me his song So many dreams I'd kept deep inside me Alone in the dark, but now you've come along And you light up my life You give me hope To carry on You light up my days And fill my nights with song Rollin' at sea Adrift on the water Could it be finally I'm turning for home Finally ac ahnce to say, Hey I love you Never again to be all alone Cause you Light up my life You give me hope To carry on You light up my days And fill my nights with song It can't be wrong When it feels so right Cause you You light up my life! |

I'd like to think this could be my theme tune You've Got a Friend When youre down and troubled And you need a helping hand And nothing, whoa nothing is going right. Close your eyes and think of me And soon I will be there To brighten up even your darkest nights. You just call out my name, And you know whereever I am Ill come running, oh yeah baby To see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, All you have to do is call And Ill be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. Youve got a friend. If the sky above you Should turn dark and full of clouds And that old north wind should begin to blow Keep your head together and call my name out loud And soon I will be knocking upon your door. You just call out my name and you know where ever I am Ill come running to see you again. Winter, spring, summer or fall All you got to do is call And Ill be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, aint it good to know that youve got a friend? People can be so cold. Theyll hurt you and desert you. Well theyll take your soul if you let them. Oh yeah, but dont you let them. You just call out my name and you know wherever I am Ill come running to see you again. Oh babe, dont you know that, Winter spring summer or fall, Hey now, all youve got to do is call. Lord, Ill be there, yes I will. Youve got a friend. Youve got a friend. Aint it good to know youve got a friend. Aint it good to know youve got a friend. Youve got a friend. and here it is sung by the incomparable Mr Taylor - the original Sweet Baby James http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSAKltdUzRk and now I must go and sit quietly. What a wondeful voice .... sigh |

Mine is "Born to try" originally sang by Delta Goodrem but i would have my Mom singing it for me as she has the most amazing voice and the lyrics are really meaningful so they would be even more so if the song was being sang by my Mom Doing everything that I believe in Going by the rules that I've been taught More understanding of what's around me And protected from the walls of love All that you see is me And all I truly believe That I was born to try I've learned to love Be understanding And believe in life But you've got to make choices Be wrong or right Sometimes you've got to sacrifice the things you like But I was born to try No point in talking what you should have been And regretting the things that went on Life's full of mistakes, destinies and fate Remove the clouds look at the bigger picture And all that you see is me And all I truly believe That I was born to try I've learned to love Be understanding And believe in life But you've got to make choices Be wrong or right Sometimes you've got to sacrifice the things you like But I was born to try All that you see is me All I truly believe All that you see is me And all I truly believe That I was born to try I've learned to love Be understanding And believe in life But you've got to make choices Be wrong or right Sometimes you've got to sacrifice the things you like But I was born to try But you've got to make choices Be wrong or right Sometimes you've got to sacrifice the things you like But I was born to try can be seen here being sung by Delta http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA-plUPT7wM |

My song would be Born to Run By Bruce Springsteen and would have him sing it cause he is amazing.... this is the song I would choose cause its got MY name in it for a start lol and it describes my inner self of being a wanderer and the one always looking for that wild unatainable forever love... Born to run In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway American dream At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines Sprung from cages out on highway 9, Chrome wheeled, fuel injected and steppin’ out over the line Baby this town rips the bones from your back It’s a death trap, it’s a suicide rap We gotta get out while we’re young `Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run Wendy let me in I wanna be your friend I want to guard your dreams and visions Just wrap your legs round these velvet rims and strap your hands across my engines Together we could break this trap We’ll run till we drop, baby we’ll never go back Will you walk with me out on the wire `Cause baby I’m just a scared and lonely rider But I gotta find out how it feels I want to know if love is wild, girl I want to know if love is real Beyond the Palace hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard The girls comb their hair in rearview mirrors And the boys try to look so hard The amusement park rises bold and stark Kids are huddled on the beach in a mist I wanna die with you Wendy on the streets tonight In an everlasting kiss The highway’s jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive Everybody’s out on the run tonight but there’s no place left to hide Together Wendy we’ll live with the sadness I’ll love you with all the madness in my soul Someday girl I don’t know when we’re gonna get to that place Where we really want to go and we’ll walk in the sun But till then tramps like us baby we were born to run </I> |
