A new forum!

Hey All!

I found myself with a spare forum license and so (surprise surprise) wondered what I could use it for :101: after much deliberation I decided on a forum for... the over 50!

I've actually been thinking about starting up a forum for this age group for a while, especially as many are still not getting into computers/on the internet - missing out on so much. So I wanted to create a forum where over 50s can get together and chat, and not feel intimidated by the younger usually more tech savvy lot!

It's currently in beta and so will get a nice fresh look later on, but seeing as I had the spare license I thought we might as well get it up and running and start building the community areas now

Sadly not in the age group (but not far off) . . . have you done some research on the Saga website Az? It's got a very lively and diverse forum section.

Saga can get quite 'spikey' at times and is sometimes blessed(!) by trolls. I hope the new forum doesn't suffer either of those visitations

I'm interested! Although most of the time I act my shoe-size, I do come into that age bracket ............. unfortunately! But I say that age is a mental thing, which would explain a lot!
