Aston Martin DB5 Saturday

Just had to be the best James Bond car today!!!

Very changeable weather-wise here, gloomy, they sunny, very breezy. Not bad out of the wind.

OH is out with Monty for his walk. Monty has been a bit of a g*t the last few days, since he recovered from his tummy upset really. I wonder if that scared him ..... it wasn't a long standing problem and he was better really within 24 hours but something has affected him. He's been quite barking mad. For example, yesterday late afternoon, he was curled up fast asleep on the chair in the sitting room and I was reading seated on another chair. All of a sudden he jumped up and started barking, looking out of the window and then ran around the house and out in the garden barking. He then came back and curled up on the chair again and calmed down. Did he have a bad dream???? Can dogs have nightmares????

We got the our "new" dresser back yesterday, so just got to pack up OH's mum's things and put them up in the loft today. We will look for a different piece of furniture for where her dresser was ............ fancy a desk/dressing table that I can use as a workspace at least temporarily. We may decide to rent the room as a business let, possibly week-nights only. Only thinking about this atm.

Hope everyone is well and that you have a good Saturday.

Re: Aston Martin DB5 Saturday

Morning all well its morning to me.

Like the title of the day Angie although not a great James Bond fan I can happily watch the films, brilliant entertainment.
Anyhow I wonder if MOnty is disturbed by the wind, I know it sounds silly however Sal is rock solid and none "event bothered" be it fireworks, loud noises anything but the wind really bothers her at times not always so hard to figure at first however I have come to the conculsion the wind blows and either moves that makes a sound or makes a sound itself that she can hear (maybe Monty too) and she considers it an issue or it scares her as the noise is wierd.....maybe thats what Monty is doing/hearing. I wonder because thats almost exactly what Sal does on rarer occasions now but still on occasion, I noticed it first when similar to your event it happened she was asleep....etc etc.
Just a thought/suggestion.

Where did your new dresser go? And I think the idea of renting the room out is a good one, and a way to put aside a little money.

Pamela the meal out sounds nice as does having the visitors to admire your handiwork. What did they think?

Weather here is changable from blue skies to rain downpours......

Work here again tonight. So see you all tomorrow .

Re: Aston Martin DB5 Saturday

evening all
Pamela, hope you have enjoyed your visitors and meal out.
Angie i wonder if Monty heard something that you couldn't, Dogs have very acute hearing.
Re the quiz, i can do either day, wed or friday.
Had a very nice day today, we went to Cleveleys, not sure i've ever been before. It's a very nice little seaside place, although full of people, lol. When we go for days out in Scotland we are used to being able to amble around without the crowds.
Did a bit of shopping, especialy the charity shops which i love, no treasures today though.
We then bought pasties to eat on the sea front and typicaly for us we got sat near a man who was priodicaly bawling his head off for some reason. We decided to move and saw the police with him later. The dogs enjoyed a nice walk on the beach.

Re: Aston Martin DB5 Saturday

Hello

Today Luna and I went and got the car, so we're ready for a good day with friends tomorrow morning

Other than that, I'm not doing much. I can't really kick myself into gear...

Yesterday we had a bad weather, lots of thunder and lightning and loads of rain. Today is hot, not nice hot, but stuffy.. Drains all energy

But now its time for strawberries and cream I think

I'm sure you are right Kazz and Shelley - Monty heard something, maybe the wind, it surely has been windy enough for weeks now it seems! I thought he was sound asleep, but maybe he was taking a leaf out of Pip's book and having a cat-nap!!!
