Panda Sunday

Thought I would give the title of the daily to my Percy Panda.

Not a lot to say apart from the Olympic flame is coming through Birmingham lots of excitment I saw crowds on the way home and it is not due around here till mid morning. Lots of local people carrying the flame....every story I have in the news has been eye watering.

So best of Olympic luck to them all.

Weather is brilliant at the moment....and I am off to bed walked Sal got the papers and now just finished my coffe toast and marmite.........So night night all.

Re: Panda Sunday

Grey here and drizzling now I haven't been out with the dog yet today, late start as it's Sunday Actually he's being very naughty lately, nicking bits of laundry, usually mine and somehow he manages to get into my wool stash and mangle the contents, most of my yarn now has no ball band. It's a good job I did an inventory/shade card a few weeks ago so I can match what's in there to the info. Pesky dog

The cats aren't being much better, Molly keeps clawing the carpet outside our bedroom and both she and Jason use the stair carpet as their personal scratching pad Why do I bother buying scratching pads/posts for them when they continue to ignore them? I suppose I should clip their claws again, it's the only thing that stops them but I need to summon up the courage first!

Sweet and sour pork for lunch today, something nice and quick (sauce from a jar )

Enjoy your Sunday afternoon!

Re: Panda Sunday

afternoon all.
I like your new avatar MrsH, sounds like your animal family are challenging at the moment
Karen, hope your having a nice restful sleep
Pamela, have a nice visit
This morning we walked the dogs seperately, it's surprising how differently they behave.
We are going to my parents for a birthday buffet this afternoon, my eldest son and girlfriend will be there too as well as my son's friend whom James has managed to persuade my mum, needs to be there.

Re: Panda Sunday

Afternoon all. Is any one else utterly sick of this crappy weather? We had 3 days of intense fog last week, so depressing!!! Anyway, surely, the sky has to dry up at some point.
Spoke with the family who lost their dog in the thunder storm, they are, understandably devastated. So sad but it was simply one of those unfortunate events.
Rayne has now got an allergy to grass, the vet thinks, I personally think its a reaction to nettle stings. She wiil tear around through long grass and gorse bushes.
Other than that things are fine.
Have a lovely day folks, hope its drier where you are. xxx

Re: Panda Sunday

It's been a mixed bag of weather here but I did get one and a bit loads of washing dried outside.

So far today I have cleaned, done laundry, weeded, cut grass, been for a long run, made muffins for lunches in the week, picked and shelled peas, cooked a meal and herded cats...... What day of rest?
