Re: Nissan Sunny Sunday

Morning Kazz, Shelley and those to come later.

It has rained stair-rods this morning, but started to cheer up around 10.00 we have some blue sky just now. Fingers crossed it lasts, well at least until OH gets home with Monty.

Roast beef and Yorkshire puds for special treat dinner today - not sure when, we normally eat around 7.00 but may not be able to wait that long today! Got some carrots and broccoli and hopefully some home-grown sugar snap peas to go with it.

I've just seen Tink's thread with her Wedding photos. Can't tell you how pleased I am for her. Wouldn't Eileen have loved to see how happy Tink is now?

Enjoy your Sunday peeps.

Re: Nissan Sunny Sunday

Hi Pamela - I've just posted on the thread about Harris' eye.

Sure there's room for a little one for dinner!!! I've never thought of having my eyes done on a Sunday - not sure opticians are open down here on a Sunday, maybe Boots, but not sure. I need new glasses but I'm waiting until my birthday as I get a free eye test then!

Re: Nissan Sunny Sunday

Hi all, mostly rain here today though it did stop for long enough for a run, on pavements though rather than footpaths!
I'm hoping to have home grown peas and bean today too Angie although the broad bean yield is rubbish this year.
Hope you had a good sleep Kazz and that your BIL finished his ride safely Shelley. I hate choosing new specs Pamela, I can't see well enough without them to see what new frames look like!

Have a good rest of Sunday everyone.

Re: Nissan Sunny Sunday

evening all
Sorry Pamela have i missed something about Harris eye ?
My BIL, his daughter and her boyfriend all finished the bike ride safely, about 64 miles i think. We gave a big cheer as they crossed the finish line.
We had a lovely day and the weather has been beautiful. We managed to find two tiny carboots at which i found a few small things, lol
The dogs enjoyed the walk on the beach and Jerry enjoyed the peace at home
