Smart Car Wednesday

Well Morning all you sleepy heads.

I am up and awake and just popping to the shop for the paper taking Sal out and then toast and marmite before maybe a food shop.

May run Mom and Dad out today garden centre for a potter about and a coffee just get them out the weather has not suited their slow style of walking these days although I am sure the general population would be happy that old people are out - being slower they may soak up more than their share of raindrops

Right hope you have a good interview Jeanette and everyone has a good day I will do my best to be around for the quiz.

Re: Smart Car Wednesday

Morning Kazz, Jeanette and those to come along later.

I am not feeling too well today - started with shivering last night and aching limbs and then got very hot but checked this morning and don't have an abnormal temperature. Have a bit of a headache too - just keeping up with the fluids and taking it easy. Not sure if I prefer the shivering or the sweating - think it used to be called "the ague". OH says it's "funny woman thing".

Waiting to see if any more deliveries come today.

Good luck with your interview Jeanette.

Have a good day peeps. I hope to see a clowder of you at the quiz tonight!

Re: Smart Car Wednesday

Afternoon! Well, an exciting day in ol' Reading town as we had the Olympic torch pass right infront of our house. Dominik was busy with my video camera and I busy on the stills camera. As we live on a very busy road it felt quite strange having it closed to traffic and standing right in the middle!

Then a play date for the boys at Krazy Kidz (mad indoor play area) as rain and thunder descended after a lovely morning.

It transpires our holiday plans have fallen through at the last minute (don't ask . . . ) so the next 2 months will be spent trying to keep the boys entertained

Angie - hope you feel better soon. I have a chesty cough and sore throat/headache so can sympathise. Would be interested to see some of your caligraphic efforts (yesterdays Daily).

Jeanette - much luck with the job; I hope you're successful.

Karen - oh to be able to potter. I seem to live my life at rocket pace and long for a day when I can simply potter. Hey ho

Its okay, I kinda had a feeling, as I walked out the door after the interview.

They were 5!! people at the interview. That's a lot, I think. They asked questions, I didn't really know how to answer.

So it didn't come as a surprise.

I'm annoyed about having spent £32 on a haircut, as I now only have £20 left for the next 2 weeks. I could have used those £32 to a lot of other things....
