Sunday lunchtime peace shattered

MakIng lunchtime omelette heard screaming coming from direction of the cat run, ran to have a look - my beautiful "Lady Amber" had caught something

Shame on me, i came indoors, the only thing small enough to get in tbe run would be a rodent of some sort & by time i had got out, up garden etc, it would have been over

My friend insisted i have a look (eek) & my nephew was out so armed with shovel & Katie we got the cats indoors after lunch & went up garden. Harvey, typical man (dog) went off up the garden to do his own thing. Katie & i searched the run thoroughly & decided that either Amber had eaten her prey or it had (hopefully) got away.

Lady Amber is now known as - "Lady Amber the Huntress".

Females are usually better at the hunt! Hope Amber enjoyed her snack

Good for Amber! I can't get too upset at their prey catching, it's the nature of the beast.
