Putting hair up

Right ladies for all of you with long hair. I'm looking for new ways of putting mine up.
Experamentation time, remember getting married and want something diffrent. If I start now I'll maybe know what I want on the day there again maybe not but it's worth a try

Re: Putting hair up

Can't help with that, Jac; I've stuck with a ponytail for years! How about a French twist?.

Re: Putting hair up

I was thinking more about having it up with little wringlets at the back and sides. Not quite sure though. French twists are nice.

Re: Putting hair up

What about one of those clasp thingies (don't know what you call them) that sweep your hair up from underneath into a very loose ponytail and have that put into ringlets!

Jac, QVC sell some really lovely Butler & Wilson hair clasps, could look really stunning if you are going to get married.

Re: Putting hair up

When you say long, how long?

When I got married I had shoulder length hair and my sister did it lovely. I had 30+ individual twists and my hair was loosly piled up. Took over 60 hair grips to hold it all in place

Thats a nice clasp, worth looking into.

Nae my hair is down my back, to my bra clip but shorter at the front and layered round my face. Well the layers start roughly at my ears.

Re: Putting hair up

When I got married, mine was longish and I had it set on velcro rollers and then all the curls loosly fastened on the top of my head with ringlets down the sides at the front and I wore a tiara..I'll see if I can find a piccie
