SO, good and bad then. Bless him for trusting you enough to look after him and trying to hide in your hand. Hope the breathing and heartbeat don't get worse. Is he like that at home? Just wondering if it could have been worse due to the stress of the vet visit? |

Seems like you are making headway in the "socialisation front" Pat, I hope that as he has survived his "outside life" with the breathing now he is regularly fed and, warm and loved he will be fine. |

What a lovely trusting boy ..... do hope that this problem does not indicate something worse. I think you had his bloods done when he was neutered? I wonder whether a thyroid test is indicated? Please give Mr Tiggles a cuddle from me. |

That's so touching about his trust in you! I agree that with warmth, food and love he'll be under less stress; maybe his breathing will improve...?? Give him a cuddle from me. |

I would have thought it unlikely to be his thyroid as he is very young and isnt displaying any other signs of an over active thyroid is he? Cat flu can be such a nasty bug if left untreated, poor baby. I suspect you were right when you mentioned to me about those kittens you had a few years back, remember you thought they were two different litters and not all had been picked up. They were quite poorly if I remember correctly, he may well be the one that got away that time. Did they say they could do anything to help with his heart rate and breathing? |
