I DO like the 3 wooden cats . . . very 'naive' art, but there's something rather retro and 50s about them!!

I think you'll do mr Darcy proud with that one. Are you keeping the honeysuckle orange, for the contrast?

Grey and orange is one of my favourite combinations, so you'll hear no arguments from me. (Then again, I frequently have no taste - if you want to worry...)

Re: my ebay bids (kinda non-cat)

Just bought a needle organiser from e-bay -

it might get me back into stitching. I am fed up of having to thread stitch - thread stitch -with this I can thread all my colours and just pick up the threaded needle with the colour needed. Been meaning to buy one for ages - Cheers CJ you prompted me doto it now I have.

Re: my ebay bids (kinda non-cat)

I have been thinking of getting one of those too, very time saving I hear.

I used to have a needle threader too, but the kids lsot it ages ago. That made for easier work. It wasnt one of hose small metal ones, it was a plastic hook shaped thing. VERY easy to use.

Alos need to buy myself a frame to work from...

costs a bit to have a hobby lol, but it keeps me sane. Well, alomst sane

Re: my ebay bids (kinda non-cat)

it does cost a lot but the X stitch are well worth it once completed - wil get a photo of first National Bank - the one with the kitties in cowboy hats and neckcheifs.

The one I am partially through is called Too Pooped and is a tabby cat sleeping in a tree. Was getting a bit fed up as I have been on the tree bark for ages and it is all browns and was boring me hence why I haven't doen any for ages.

Before We seperated I Was going to get a photo of my wedding tunred into a pattern. Can't see the point now though.
It is well worth doing.
