Hello from me

Hi all, I've just joined 'Catsey' after seeing the link on 'Over 50s Forum'. We have three 'official' cats; Cookie, a ginger and white female, Maddie, a tabby female and Charlie a black and white male without a tail.

We also feed a couple of feral cats one of which, a female black cat, we have managed to catch and get neutered, the other, a kitten of the above cat, a tabby and white male, now about six months old which we have (at last) managed to catch and he went for the 'op' on Thursday. We are expecting to bring him back tomorrow and we will continue to feed the both of them for as long as they wish to hang around. At least, now, there are two cats less who will have to suffer the mating season.

They are true ferals and cannot be approached closer than a few feet.

Re: Hello from me

Hullo Rob and welcome.Good on you for seeing to the two feral cats and getting them neutered.Your official cats are very very lucky to have such a caring owner. One of my cats, Miracle, was one of an abandoned feral litter and was near death when she was rescued at 2 days old. I have a soft spot for ferals and it's so nice to hear that you are keeping your two safe and providing them with food.

Re: Hello from me

Hi Rob, welcome to Catsey. Great job on the ferals. We have 5 cats, just been to see the next contestant, Huggins. He's at our local shelter until he's old enough to come to us. Hopefully that will be next week. All our cats are rescues so Huggins will fit in. He's named after my husband's old RSM.
