Daily Thread / Friday

Morning all, dull and overcast this morning. Have to go to the bank and do a trolley dash at some point.

Hope everyone has a great Friday

Re: Daily Thread / Friday

Morning,
Feeling lots better today, although I've lost my voice completely. No answering the phone for me today!
Miserable and wet here, food shopping tonight!
I have some questions for you lovely catsey people so I'll be starting a thread later on, not enough time to explain this morning!
L xxx

Re: Daily Thread / Friday

Morning all

Glad you are feeling better PL.

Trying to be sunny here today. I love Fridays, not much booked in today. Going docs later to ask for my hormones and thyroid to be checked, best ruling out stuff as you get older I think....

Yola you have a lot of trouble with the baby sleeping don't you. Did you get the lactose intolerence checked? Do you think its an attachment issue-ie hates to be away from you? Do you think he may be afraid of the dark? Just trying to offer anything other than medical reasons for why he is cranky.....I'm sure you have already thought of them all

Have a good day all

Hi, ladies! Finally a taste of Spring: made 24 lovely sunny degrees yesterday! And the same high today, but cloudy; which is OK as I'm planting the four roses that came yesterday; they won't be stressed by too much sun, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow, also good for them! Nothing new here, to the bank and market, a quiet afternoon as usual.....

PL: glad you're a bit better!
Angie: what's a bottle bank ?...don't know that expression

Get ready for the weekend!

Re: Daily Thread / Friday

Afternoon all, on here for 5 mins before I am forced to go and watch the Simpsons movie (Lord help me). It's Hayleys birthday today and this was one of the pressies she was desperate for, and so I have to suffer through the watching of it!! I have 3 new babies and mum in residence ( very cute babies) will post pics later.

Eileen, a bottle bank is a recycling point for empty glass/plastic bottles. I think angie has been drinking too much vino lol!

Have a good evening all.

BC - he's not lactose intollerant; it's intollerance to the protein in dairy produce (and soya). He's on a formula milk which has already had its proteins broken down (£8 a tin - thank goodness it's on prescription)!!

I don't know if he's just a whiny, whingey baby, but every little thing sets him off - always has done. He's got a cold at the moment which means he doesn't sleep very well which in turn makes him miserable when he's awake. Vicious circle.

He's under a specialist and we have an appt in 10 days' time so I will be raising all this with him.
