You go for it. Sounds like you have the right idea. Its so easy to get stuck in a rut. Weve all been there. Boots has a good range of false nails. Diffrent shapes sizes and colours. Not too expencive either. I used to wear them. |

Carly - sometime it's what one needs - just a bit of a pamper - to feel 1000% better. I think Emma did some 'home' nails recently so may be worth digging out her old post. Be careful with stick-on nails from a nail bar - especially the Chinese ones; they use really nasty glue that can permenantly ruin your nails. And having your hair done (whether in a salon or at home) is just the best tonic for making yourself feel special. Pictures of the finished effect would be good |

Make the change for you. Husbands never notice! (That's probably a good thing - you are you are you, no matter what the wrapping.) Funny how pampering yourself occasionally makes you feel so much better. |

Go for it. If you think 'augmented' nails might be a bit high maintenance (i think they would, even though I've never had them) you could change your image quite markedly just by painting the nails you have. They don't need to be long - just neat. |

Most of the false nails you buy off the shelf these days are glued rather than the double sided sticky you used to get Mine last for atleast a week and that's with doing everyday things too. |

I decided to get some rather nice naileene ones ( thats the brand). I never heard of them, but dont know anything about this brand. I will post piccies of the nails when finished. As for the hair, maybe form the back view lol!!! I am thinking, and I dont mean to sound REALLY vain here, of getting my teeth straightned. You may remeber me saying I have only been to the dentist once in 12 years. But i hate my teeth. theyre not nasty looking, ie theyre fairly white ( i got some white tooth polish today as well) but two are twisted sideways and theres gaps in them. Do you think at alomst thirty I am too old for this though??? Soon be off to do my nails, which i have never done before. Also going to snap some piccies of the nice n shiney clean darcy and princess before they much thmeselves upa gain, batteries have finished charging while i have been out |

Ask the dentist? At least gaps mean you can brush the teeth well, mine snuggle very tightly and are a pain to clean. Nothing excessively vain in getting your teeth straightened, if they really bother you. Think we're all allowed one correction of nature. |

I always do that when i am feeling down, or upset. There is nothing like getting your hair done, or buying new clothes, to cheer you up. I also like buying things for my Sophie |
