Introducing Sebastian & Ruby!

hi!

I've had the kittens for a week now so thought you'd all like to see some photos! I thought I was getting two ginger boys but on closer inspection when I got home realised that the lady I got them from wasn't too great at sexing and likkle Boris was in fact a girl! So she is called Ruby! She is half the size of her brother as she was the runt of the litter.

Sebastian...

Ruby...

Sebastian (left) & Ruby (right)...

Ruby asleep in my arms...

Sebastian in his favourite position...

They are glorious kittens Naomi! Have to say that I thought a ginger girlie was fairly rare - but could be completely wrong about that. They are the cutest of cutiepies anyway.

Re: Introducing Sebastian & Ruby!

yes they are rare, I read on the internet that you can get them when mum is a tortoiseshell and dad is a ginger which the parents where. Apparently they are more expensive to neuter than other females?? not sure if this is true, does anyone know?

Re: Introducing Sebastian & Ruby!

I was always told it was genetically impossible to get a true ginger girl but Bubbles is pretty much that apart from a tiny white bit on the end of her tail which is how the vet says she gets away with it I don't mind they are beautiful anyway

And your kittens are SO GORGEOUS!!

are they are so so cute

i had a cream tabbie Maine coon and yes they are rare
i dont know about her costing a little more to get done but i do know that red heads need more drugs when having an OP cos they have a low pain thresh hold, i dont know if its the some with cats

What darlings!!! I have always wanted a red kitten so am a bit jealous

I have a Sebastian too; but mine has 2 legs and is just short of 2 years old. I bet yours is less trouble though
