Horrific act in my neighborhood!

I could not believe this when I saw it on the 11 pm news last night! This is just 4 doors down from Whole Foods market, where I shop regularly !! Scroll down for the story .....

There are some really sick people out there, aren't they?

The remnants of the police tape were still there this morning when I was at the market....the woman police officer in the pic is Chief Kathy Lanier, our first woman police chief. She shows up regularly at crime scenes.....

How frightening to have something like this happen in your neighbourhood. I do hope the poor man is recovering well although the article mentioned serious injuries. There must have been quite a few eyewitnesses, maybe they can help identify the moron who did this.

That's terrible and even moreso when it is so close to where you shop..

I do hope the poor man recovers ....... he will probably be scarred for life after his injuries..

Re: Horiffic act in my neighborhood!

I hate to say it, but throwing gasoline on people and igniting them seems to be the crime de jour nowadays: there have been two frightful instances locally of exes or disgruntled boyfriends doing it; the women were horribly disfigured. I cannot fathom how anybody can do such a thing..
