Vitamin B12.

How often do you give them, I've had conflicting advice and wanted to ask somebody who had actually given them.

Re: Vitamin B12.

it depends... i used to give Tinky Winky a dose of vit b 12 each day after he developed his protein allergy..I actually used a human vit b 12 liquid.. as it worked out to far far cheaper than the pet ones... and delivered higher doses of the vit b components... i was a bit uneasy about it being for human consumption... but my vet said it was better... we gave 0.5 ml per day

Re: Vitamin B12.

Thanks, I an also going 0.5 mls, one vet suggested every 2-3 days for Spice, and weekly for the other renal cats- another said monthly, but he was perhaps thinging in more general terms, rather than specifically for renal disease.

Re: Vitamin B12.

I used to buy a product called Pet Tinic which is a Vit B and Trace iron supplement. I used to give Winston 1 to 2 mls daily.
