OK, these are probably dumb questions. I have ordered a 512 MB card. Assuming for the purpose of understanding how it works; if I take ten pics and each one uses say, 1MB, have I used up 10 MB and the card now holds 502 MB? And, if I delete them, does it revert to 512 MB? And assuming I am nearing the end of the MB on the card, does a warning come up like it does for Low Battery? Or would the camera revert to the internal memory? |

You will getr a little box come up on your camera screen saying memory card full, or similar, then you just delete your pictures once you have up loaded them to your comp... |

Ok let me try and answer assuming it's the same as mine. My card tells me it holds x amount of photos. If I don't delete the photo's it tells me the memory is getting full. It also says that some of the photo's have already been transferred and only transfers the new ones. Once uploaded you get the option to delete. I hope that helps. |

Also, just wanted to add, if it's 512 mb and you take so many photos and this uses 10 mb then you delete these photos off of the memory card you then have 512 mb again |

Thanks. Maybe I wasn't clear: I always delete every photo from the camera when I've uploaded There are never any pics in the camera itself. So does that mean there is always 512 MBs on the memory card? Sorry to be a bit thick here... |
