Re: Sunny Saturday

All sounds good to me Pamela.

Sunny day here too - lovely. Another quiet day on the horizon, with nothing much planned.

Enjoy your Saturday all!

Re: Sunny Saturday

Morning Pamela and Squirrel! Bright and sunny here too and a bit breezy. Trying to catch up with laundry and housework here - never knew a puppy could make even the simplest task seem tricky! OK atm as OH is out in the garden with said beastie. Not too bad a night - Monty did start crying around 4.00 and OH took him out for a pee. Pup took a while to settle back down again but did eventually. OH had got dressed but was able to come back to bed.

Hope everyone has a lovely day, BBQs or salads (which is what we will be having!) - enjoy your Saturday peeps.

Change of plan food-wise. We've decided to treat ourselves to asparagus risotto. It's a Jamie Oliver recipe and has lemon and mint in it too. Not tried this particular recipe before but I love risotto, although not regularly because of the butter!

Re: Sunny Saturday

Hi, all! Sunny but much below seasonal; quite a change from that pleasant run of warmth! It's only 11 C (52 F) and a rather brisk breeze. Nothing special on the agenda, am still sorting out clothes to be donated/discarded, and boxing up books.

Call from the hospital yesterday, surgery Tuesday at noon. Apprehensive, but want to get it over with.

BBQ sounds good, also the risotto and gammon. I haven't decided, thinking of shrimp creole ......

Hope it's a good day for all!

Ooooh! Glad you now know when surgery is Eileen. Natural that you should be nervous now you have a definite date, but definitely something to get over and done with.

Thoughts with you
