Thanks for posting the pictures PP, as I had not heard of this pottery before. I can see what you mean and IMO it's just the dark face that detracts - I rather like the rest of it! What does Posh think? I've just looked at their website - that's a very old pottery! |

Posh hasn't taken any notice, I'm sure she's short sighted! Yes. I agree the dark face is off-putting, I would have preferred an all over glaze. To be honest, I would not have bought it myself but as a gift it would be churlish to be ungrateful. The pottery is very old and some pieces are collectable and expensive, don't know what this cost but small items are dear, this must have been a few quid! Bless him. Not named yet- any suggestions? |

I love it I think the dark face is perfect, like a spotlight onto his face; in the last picture looks like he is thinking...............about life; or maybe considering a butterflymoth chasing moment. Beautiful never seen this sort of pottery before but may well consider a piece myself. What a beautiful present to receive. With regard to a name I think the cat looks like a "he" not a she. But thats my thought. |
