Re: Leaves Coloring Part II

My walnut still has loads of leaves and is usually the first tree in the garden to lose them all. We have gales forecast tomorrow, so maybe that'll see them fall.

Zumaks have coloured up well, but my maple is not a good colour this year. I really miss my smoke bush, which is dying and is going to be dug out next week.

This tree is a maple of some sort. I'll take another when it's fully colored. I miss my gorgeous scarlet Japanese maple ...

Eileen I can't see any pics, just a box with an 'X' in it.. Is it just me..? I saw your other one fine and have just been looking at other photos on here ok, that's strange. Oh well, perhaps it'll load up at a later date, I'm hoping. Have you changed your pic viewing software recently Eileen perhaps..

Edit:
GOT IT! It was my pc loading up, not long switched on I guess so a little slow, gorgeous tree, can't wait 'till the real deep colours really show through.

Re: Leaves Coloring Part II

I understand you missing your lovely maple Eileen - mine is the one plant in my garden that I really couldn't bear losing. The tree fern and the smoke bush are hard to lose, but my maple which has been grown from a small tree over the years .......
