Beautiful Scotland; The Water Horse

This film has been out for a while but I took my 8 yr old grandson to see it on Valentine's Day. I was mighty impressed by the cinematography it was a great advert for Scotland. Set during WW2, the film was charming and had a real feelgood factor. No big names, the only actor I could name was Brian Cox, but so well performed and the young boy was fascinating. Great CGI effects with 'the water horse' and a nice story. Try and see on DVD if you can.

We went to see it last week and I agree it is excellent. The actress who was the mother also played the mother in Angela's Ashes if anyone saw that.

Re: Beautiful Scotland; The Water Horse

I googled The Water Horse and watched the trailer. Wonder why I haven't seen it advertised - OH says he has (he watches too much TV!). Looks like a charming film and I shall put it on my list of films to see.
