I adore peonies! Remind me of my childhood as my Mum also had dark red ones; they signalled the start of summer! I have some cut ones here in the house that OH bought me at the moment which are mid-pink - slightly lighter than yours - and I love looking at them. Shame they get so bashed about by the weather  |
