Lynz, Basenjis are not fans of water and will usualy avoid it. Malaika enjoys paddling in Moving water like the sea or a stream, she has not swum as yet. Unlike your Ty she will skip around puddles. They can't bear wetness and will franticaly try to lick you dry after a shower |

Lovely pics, feel as if I'd been there! But isn't the water really cold still; amazed Malaika would venture in it. Like the flower pics; is that a cherry or a pear blossoming? And what is the small blue flower? |

Great pictures Shelley .... I would never have believed that the town was so near. That's another good gateway - did you jump through it? Another funny thing we've read about introducing puppy to water and vegetables. I know it's silly, but I thought that was so funny. Fancy taking your pup into a grocery shop and introducing all those veg Are the small blue flowers Forget-me-not Shelley? |

Yes Angie, the tiny Blue flowers are forget me nots, i love them. Eileen i'm afraid i don't know what the blossoms are , perhaps someone recognises them ? Angie i thought the factory chimney looked so incongruous near all that nature. It belongs to Tulketh Mill. Howard asked me why i was photographing the gateway, i said maybe if you went through it you would be transported back in time to the Victorian age. He just thinks i'm crazy (can't think why ) |
