Easter Monday

Morning all.
Lovely sunny day again, just a bit cooler.
Been very busy over easter and have loads of catching up to do on here.
I came on especialy to see if there was any Puppy news Angie ?
What a shame that Pip isn't so well, i do hope he's better soon.
We went to York carboot on Saturday and took the dogs, was a good place to socialise Kwame who wasn't at all phased by the crowds. I got a beautiful little antique doll (1910), a 60's winky doll and a boxed Teen doll, pre sindy/Barbie. We went into York after and walked by the river.
Yesterday we took the dogs for a walk around Preston docks and had something to eat at a realy nice little kiosk.
Had visitors all day yesterday which was lovely.
Today i have been car booting again, picked up a few books, a small 70's doll and some handmade place mats.
Hope everyone else has a good day.

Re: Easter Monday

Hi Shelley, glad you (and dogs ) enjoyed the carboot. I daren't go to them as I'm sure I'd find stuff I like but don't need and then have to find a use/display space to justify having bought them!

It's still bright and sunny here, lovely blue sky but a bit cooler and a gentle breeze today which is very welcome as it was actually a bit stifling over the weekend. Son and DIL have just left, they're off to a picnic with friends and then they'll be going back to London afterwards. It was lovely having them here over the weekend

Looking forward to Angie's news today, very keen on hearing about Monty but mainly concerned about Pip, hope he's doing ok

Re: Easter Monday

Hi Shelley, MrsH, those to come...

Sounds like you've had plenty on Shelley. And also sounds like most of it has been good.

Glad you;ve got reasonable weather MrsH, and htat it has calmed down a little over the last day or so.

I be tired and needing my bed. Went to work this morning despite that, just to find that I Still didn't have any work for doing. So, having a healthy balance on the plus side in Flexi, I took off at midday. Really not in the right place to hang round doing nothing in work all day...

Angie - hoping for more good news about Pip soon - and to hear all about picking wee puppy boy up. When are you hoping to do so?

Re: Easter Monday

Hi all! Another gloriously warm pre-Summer day: not quite 11 am and it's already 23 C (74 F), with 29 C promised by afternoon; love it. Am wearing shorts and tee, first time since last Autumn, and barefoot, of course. Waiting for my grocery delivery.

Shelley. sounds like a successful two days! Squirrel, sorry you're a bit tired; isn't Flextime a good thing? MrsH, sounds like a lovely visit from son and DIL, it's nice having picnic weather instead of ice and snow! Anxiously awaiting Pip news, and the pup too.

Don't eat too many chocolate eggs ....

Re: Easter Monday

Hello all went to work this morning. and now home but going back in later someone has phoned in sick and I am partly covering. Oddly enough I volunteered............

Anyhow made the most of the afternoon and tidied around in the back garden. Disposed of old compost and refilled new fresh stuff have sort of come to an arrangment for the pots.

Hoping to "meet" Monty before I shoot back off. And waiting for news on Pip too.

Re: Easter Monday

Hi all - just waiting for Photobucket to load some photos. Pick up went well.

Kizzy isn't amused! And no further news about Pip I'm sad to say.

Lovely day here - much more of a breeze, so comfortable, although still hot.

*laughs* Poor Kizzy Angie! She'll come round, but I'll bet wee Monty isn't a great substitute for Pip...
