Hubbby entered some of his artwork in a local arts and crafts exhibition which took place over the Bank Holiday.

He's only gone and won some classes

I think in total he got 4 firsts; 1 second; 2 thirds and 1 highly commended! (but I might be wrong, he was starting to lose count!!)

I'm so proud of him. He's always been able to draw well but it all went on hold during the keeping down a job/raising a family/paying the mortgage years. It was something he decided to pick up again when he retired 4 years ago and went to a couple of evening class courses then joined the U3A art group. He works mainly in watercolour but does some 3D collage stuff as well.

Well done to your OH!! I would too love to see some of these pictures - being very much a lasped artist (for same reasons as your OH) I'd be really interested in having a peek.

Anyway all the entries are on display until the weekend so can't do anything just yet, we'll see!
