I've not got much experience as to the differences between the sexes, but I do know that it was the 2 girls in Clouds litter who were the first to go explore - while the boys were still huddled up in their bed, Cloud's sister, closely followed by herself, was going by way of a blanket, to explore the big wide world. And am told that this was true for everything. Little Patch (who we lost to Cat flu before she could be rehomed), then Cloud, would go and explore, leaving the boys somewhat behind. Both girls were first to sit on my lap when I first met them many weeks later too... |

I have two boys and a girl. My one boy is a right cuddle cat and the other boy loves strokes and rubbing againt you. My girl only likes fuss on her terms - and that is usually when she is hungry. |

Tiger is more very stroppy she doesn't always want fuss sometimes she just wants to be left alone, she hates being picked up. My 4 boys though are all incredibly cuddly, one would quite happily sit in your arms for a whole day and not move. |

My four boys were far more affectionate than my four girls over the years. The girls wanted fuss and affection on their terms, as a rule. |

pip does like a good cuddle and will even come running up the stairs if he hears me going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. my mums cat can be really affectionate at the best of times aswell, she comes up and hogs the bed and usually comes to say hello when she gets in, but not after shes greeted the dog first! |
