RIP little oneHad a phone call from hubby just after 9 am this morning, a young cat had been hit on the road outside his work, He ran out to check it, it was still alive, so he wrapped it in his works jumper and ran all the way up the hill beside him to where our vets are. As he walked through the door he felt the cat take one last breath and then go completely limp  The vet took him straight through to the surgery, but confirmed that he had gone. Poor hubby is in bits, it's not the first time he's had something like this happen to him.The vet scanned that cat and it had a chip, so hopefully the owners will be able to take some comfort in the fact that their pet wasn't alone when it died and that someone cared enough to try and help. RIP little one, I'm sure you will be missed x

I am so sorry for you hubby Alex, but it was brilliant that he tried to help the poor cat. RIP poppet. |

So sorry to hear this, Alex What a kindhearted person your hubby is to do all he possible could for the young cat .....Freed from pain in the arms of someone who cared..... |

Awwwwwww thats a shame but one of the benefits of microchips. Its a risk for cats allowed out. |
