Very sorry Sally - loads of us here know the pain you are going through. Hopefully when the first wave of grief has passed, you will be able to remember her with smiles rather than tears. Sweet Tilly, considerate to the very end - run now and play darling. |

Thank you for all your kind words. I am relieve in part as she was suffering in the heat and I knew I was going to have to make a decsion soon. She is at piece now and went very quickly in my arms and at home rather than the vets. I have asked for her ashes back and trimmed some of her fur to keep which I will put with her ashes. I had some feathering scissors so could trim her fur without ruining her beautiful looks. She is at the bridge at the moment alone as she was the first to go of my cats but I am sure she will have fun asking for fuss from anyone passing over and will have a great time lazing in the sun waiting for the rest of us to get there. Gfree from the struggle of trying to cope in this heat with only one functioning lung. She can breathe easy now and will be healthy and happy again. She was the first to offer a cudle and loved to be held. So will be sorely missed but she had 16 years with me and enjoyed them a lot. She also loved staying in my room for the last week or so and could often be found cuddled next to me for attention or purring in my ear at odd time durng the night. I have got lots of photos and will post some of her soon. I might not be able to reply to all the post as I cry when I try to but am reading all of them and I am very grateful for them and the support of opther who know what it is like and how much we all love our cats. Thanks again Sally |
