sometimes Angie, if you use a hot hairdryer on the site of the growler it can work again but be careful not to burn the fur. It would be nice to see a pic of him when you have time. |

There is something about a bear that is so theraputic. When my mum passed away in 2005, I discovered that Gund make a limited number of bears every year with that particular year on them . I bought one of these special bears with 2005 on it and cuddled it in bed every night since. It's ears have gone a bit scruffy now with all my tears, but he is still beautiful. When I lost dad in 2008, I got another to mark that year. Each year these memory bears, as they are called, are different in colour and shape. I often cuddle them and somehow they seem to bring my parents close to me . I feel as if I'm cuddling mum and dad. Sounds silly, but they have bought me a great deal of comfort, especially in the months after the loss of my parents. |
