Beauty and Smudge

Smudge went over to the Rainbow Bridge 2004.

Beauty (who can be seen here)

is our latest cat (she came from our local rescue centre)

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of Smudge, but Smudge looked very much like Beauty, only Smudge was long haired and had a big bushy white ball at the end of her tail and Beauty is short haired with a tiny white stripe at the very end of her tail.

Beauty is still rather nervous of strangers, and turns tail and, depending on whether the visitor is male or female either runs from them (if they are male) or walks away (if they are female)

I think it was probably to do with young boys (hence her dislike of strangers (male and female) and children.

Ah sweet Smudge - I had a Smudge too, she was B&W - there is a post about her in Gone but not Forgotten too.

They leave little paw prints on our hearts don't they?

Aww she is lovely a real Beauty. I am sure she will come round eventually with a lot of TLC.

Smudge sounded a beautiful cat as well.

Mixture of both! Beauty was curled up asleep and caught my eye somehow!

I could swear to it she somehow got me to look at her!
