Buddies insurance?

hope this is in the right section i had a letter through the door saying that i can get a months free insurance with Buddies-i had already been considering Buddies as their rates seem very good-too good to be true almost so thought id see if anyone here has them and if theyd recommend them? or any other pet insurance for that matter? i know alot of people prefer to just save a little cash each month rather then get insurance-but with a whole mini zoo on our hands we never get to save even a crumb let alone any money so would rather be covered somehow, escpecially with how mad these pair are

Re: Buddies insurance?

I have heard of them but I don't think they offer the cover for life insurance do they? Mine are all insured with Petplan, I know it's more expensive but they are covered for life and you get a discount for more than one pet insured with them.

Re: Buddies insurance?

I use M&S insurance for all of mine apart from Lily, as I'm going to breed from her she has a special policy from PetPlan. M&S are good as you can choose to have no excess and they are cheaper than PetPlan.

I haven't heard of buddies either, sorry. I use M&S, as I'd used Petplan in the past and wasn't overly impressed with their service when I made a claim.

Re: Buddies insurance?

thanks for all the replies. petplan was the other one i was looking at, might do an online quote for them.

im not sure if they offer cover for life-how would i find that out?

when you say m&s insurance, im assuming you mean marks and spencers? think il have to have a quick search and see what they offer!

Re: Buddies insurance?

right, have just done online qoutes for petplan and m&s, and m&s are MUCH better. works out at about £6.50 a month per kittie, but there is a discount for the second. looks like i'll be going with these then-thankyou for mentioning them guys!

oh, actually-anyone here who has m&s pet insurance, have you ever had to actually make a claim? and if so, how were they at dealing with it? and the customer service?
